There's a few of us from the Dayton area that do track days and youre more than welcome to rideshare with us. We definitely plan to hit up Putnam more and possibly Nelson this year. Unfortunately, we're going to be in the Alabama area for an extended period of time so ridesharing to barber may not work out.

I had a shorter female friend that rode a lowered gsxr600 just fine.

Negative ghost rider. Shade, there's not a huge diff Btwn the last couple of iPad models. The 3 and 4 (unofficial model numbers) have slight perf differences that's about it. You can find many iPad 3s for the 400 range. I happen to love the portability of the iPad minis. The weight and size is perfect if you're considering traveling with the tablet. Check out apple's refurb site. They hold the same warranty, and I've had nothing but great experiences with my refurbs.

Whats your price range? Based on purpose, you definitely want a tablet if all you're going to do is web surfing and gaming. I would suggest the ipad. You're apps selection in iTunes is far better than the android. Ever since I got mine, i use it religiously and rarely ever break out the laptop. The tablet is a lot more convenient, it's not just about weight, the keyboard does take up a lot of space and bulky. Combined with an wifi printer and you're pretty much set. This is based on your sole use of web surfing and games tho. There not a good Office suite, so if you plan to build powerpoints, spreadsheets or dissertations....its not a viable option.

I bought a used Penske Triple about 1.5 yrs ago for $550 newly refreshed. Check the boards and be patient for great deals...esp since we're in the off-season up north, i figured you have the luxury to sit back and wait.

I would not buy a used Blu-Ray player since new ones can be found for cheap easily. I like the PS3, tho I rarely ever use it for gaming. I like having the option and the occasional MW.

I think motorcycle tires are going to be too big and bulky for that competition. Your team might want to reconsider using bicycle tires. Kids bikes have thin lightweight, sturdy tires that are more efficient in the 12-14" size. You're gonne need huge rim for a motorcycle tire. Just my two cents and something to consider.
