  1. What are the chances? The first bike night I am out of town & you meet up at Circuit City. Hope to see you out there soon.

I see from Hue Jass' pics you have changed your hair too.

  2. Nice to meet you on Weds. My daughter will be excited to see the derby.

  3. Personally, I LOVE the rodeo, and go every year. I camp with the same group each year, and we have the same spot every year. It's a complete blast, but if you are easily offended, or any bit of a prude, you would probably hate it. It's basically a biker Mardi Gras. In the 7 years I've been going, I've never run into any trouble at all...no fights, no stabbings, etc. But there *are* general rules of thumb to follow. Probably the most important one is to never cross the boundary someone has set up for their campsite. People are pretty serious about "their land" out there. Just some insight....
  4. hey Kim, I don't think you've done a proper intro yet. Start one on the intro threads http://www.ohio-riders.com/forumdisplay.php?f=38 so everyone can say hello. k?

  5. I had this same problem at one time, and although I can only speak for myself (and I'm FAR from being a mechanical or electrical whiz!!) but with mine, it was the fact that I have double filament bulbs, and one of the filaments was broken. A two dollar bulb fixed the problem. (again, for me...not sure if your problem is the same) Harley~
  6. This should be a great event! There will be various tents/vendors set up outside, as well. I'll be at the Autism benefit @ QSL until 3(ish), then I'm heading over to Kickstand to volunteer at the beer truck until 6. For those of you that aren't sure, Kickstand is less than 3 minutes from QSL. If you are at QSL, you'll turn left onto Polaris. Turn left at Sancus. Turn left at Lazelle. Very easy to find! I hope I see some of y'all at one or both of these events! It's going to be a fun day!! Harley~
  7. 'Tis true...I am a gal. (and I hit like one, too!)

  9. This is really a nice and generous offer. Thank you for putting in the work to at least ask for anyone that might want to take advantage of the offer. Harley
  10. I will be there, but earlier... around 630. I'm going with a couple of rollergirls to do some more (never ending!) derby promotion with Darris from AD Farrow.

Looking forward to seeing y'all there!

  11. Glad you had a good time.

If you are free tonight (Wednesday) come along to the old Circuit City on Polaris at 7pm, some of us meet there before rolling over to QS&L for bike night. We can introduce to to a few of us, show you who is who & all that at CC then a bunch more at QSL.

We'll look after you, you'll be fine.

    Hope to see you out.

  12. It was so nice meeting you, too! Thank you for having OHRG out for this event and for taking such good care of us!

As a rider, I had a really good time, too....now if I can just get over my shyness thing and actually approach people, I'll be on my way! :)

It was a great day, and you all did a really good job pulling it off..thanks!

  13. This is the same day as Summer Slam '09 at Farrow's Northstar on 71 (exit 36/37). Six bands to include McGuffey Lane, Lynyrd Skynrd tribute band, ZZ Top Tribute band and a Stevie Ray Vaughn Tribute band....tix are 10 dollars or 15 at the door. Could be fun to do it all in one day, eh? Event - ride - Event. Just my .02 Harley
  14. I'd like to add to this, if I may. Mike Hoover (mgr., Boyd's Northgate) is a really GREAT guy. I've had a particularly bad (BAD)run of luck this past year. In the middle of everything, my jeep broke down and the repairs were way out of my reach. Mike has been a friend for years and he really helped me above and beyond to get my Jeep back on the road. I knew this event was coming up, and told him I would do my best to round up some volunteers for this event. I originally went to the Ohio Rollergirls to get some volunteers, but then found out there was a scheduling problem, as OHRG is contracted to do an event at another bar just up the road from QSL that same day. I will be at QSL at 830 to 9AM to help with setting up the event. I plan to stay and volunteer my time to them until 330, at which time I have to go so I can fulfill my contracted responsibilities with OHRG. If anyone is interested in volunteering their time for Mike and the guys at Boyds, I know they need all the bodies they can get and would be so appreciative. As would I, since I'm also doing this as a way to thank Mike for all of his generous help to me. People to direct traffic, help park cars, take sign-ups and run tables are all needed, I'm sure. Thank you for considering this... Harley
  15. Hey.

    Nice meeting you Sunday.

Hope you had a good time.
