  1. Tried to get to Rapid city last week by plane... could not do it. Should have ridden out would have been faster. Instead slept at the Denver airport for a day. Big fun that was.
  2. He will be missed by more than a few. RIP my friend.
  3. This is control of a your bike: https://imgur.com/gallery/g01Juu2
  4. Bump Price drop due to the rear tire issue $800.00 Bring a truck/trailer, not much tread left on the rear tire.
  5. People have been asking for pis so here are a few Original post had a couple of things wrong, mileage is less and the rear tire is worn more than I first thought. Front tire has lots of tread but does show signs of age on the side walls. Tried to show the fuel spill on the tank but as I said before I do have original paint that goes with the bike. Also saddlebags (not pictured) go with the bike and the "Box-O-Parts" including a cd with the shop manual and parts listing. It does start and run. All the gears work and almost everything works too. 1 turn signal is out, new bulb should fix that. This is a 37 year old bike, tinkering will be needed.
  6. If you need a title transfer typically you went to a Notary and had the title certified, signatures, ID etc. But if it was a weekend or after hours this could be a real pain in the neck. After a recent experience with this and Notary offices being shut down due to the Covid thing I did a little research and found a better way. https://www.ohiosos.gov/notary/information/#electronic In Ohio you can do this on the internet 24/7 now. Who knew? It's not clear if you need a scanner to upload the title to them or if a cell phone will work. So it may cost a bit more but it can be done anytime. I haven't tried this but it's a nice option. A quick search finds that this is authorized in the following counties: Adams, Allen, Ashland, Ashtabula, Athens, Auglaize, Belmont, Brown, Butler, Carroll, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Columbiana, Coshocton, Crawford, Cuyahoga, Darke, Defiance, Delaware, Erie, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Fulton, Gallia, Geauga, Greene, Guernsey, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Harrison, Henry, Highland, Hocking, Holmes, Huron, Jackson, Jefferson, Knox, Lake, Lawrence, Licking, Logan, Lorain, Lucas, Madison, Mahoning, Marion, Medina, Meigs, Mercer, Miami, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Morrow, Muskingum, Noble, Ottawa, Paulding, Perry, Pickaway, Pike, Portage, Preble, Putnam, Richland, Ross, Sandusky, Scioto, Seneca, Shelby, Stark, Summit, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, Union, VanWert, Vinton, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Williams, and Wood One service I found states: Interesting... If anybody tries this please reply to this thread so we all know how it works out for you.
  7. I'll get some pictures for this. It has been sitting due to the covid thing so it needs the battery charged etc. There is a kinda blurry photo in my contact section. I'll get some more this weekend weather permitting. Windscreen has been changed to smoke and better mirrors are on lt.

  12. Not going to take sides on this one except to note the media coverage of both sides has been less than even handed. It does seem to show that the media leans a bit Democrat, yes even Fox since they were bought out. No matter which side your on I'm betting on a very interesting next few years.
  13. Unless they are radioactive and glow in the dark, and have frickin killer laser beams on their heads, yes, passe this year. Perhaps next year?

  15. Ah! Vintage electrical issues. A common problem from the era is the coil wires. The copper is green under the insulation and has more resistance than it should. When you have 2 ohms of resistance in the coils themselves an extra ohm or two will give all kinds of strange issues. Won't idle, breaks up at high rev's, stalls, sputters, etc. The plugs will be the giveaway, dark, sooty even wet, depending on when you check them. They should be a nice brown/gray at the tips. Hope this helps.
  16. All the best to you. Good luck with the move. They were some pretty good rides weren't they?
  17. Sounds like a wiring error. Get a volt meter and start checking which wire is hot ignition on / off. Turn signals on / off. The new turn signals should have three wires, 1 for ground, 1 for turn and 1 for running lights. Something is wired backwards if the old ones worked and the new ones don't. Hope this helps.
  18. Just pointing out the wealth of dis-information on the subject
  19. Top theories on how it _really_ happened: https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-news/coronavirus-china-bat-patent-conspiracy-theory-942416/ Kinda leaning toward the SImpsons caused it myself. But that's just me. 😎 The Simpsons predicted the coronavirus Because The Simpsons has been on the air for more than 30 years, there’s been no shortage of elaborate plotlines for internet sleuths to point to as harbingers for various world events, to the degree that “The Simpsons predicted it” is now more of a meme than anything else. Case in point: screengrabs allegedly from the 1993 episode “Marge in Chains” about an outbreak of a mysterious illness, with one appearing to show a newscaster delivering a report about a “corona virus.”
