I have it on super good authority that on the Wing it is stored in the digital dash itself. That actually makes a lot of sense and I bet that is true of all bikes.

I only know about bikes I have had. On the Wing, the Vulcan and the Nomad no the miles are not part of the the ECU/M. The manual Wing has 10 computers for all that stuff. The DCT has 11. No idea which one contains the mileage.

The new Wing is amazing, but I really don't think it is fast enough for @durk solo. He would still need a second bike for that itch I think.
