  1. I tried looking for other Gen 2s to compare to, and between Glocktalk, Armslist, Gunbroker and AR15.com I couldn't find any for sale at all, so there is some rarity there now. I thought that would be a fair place to start, and am certainly open to offers.
  2. I've got a Gen 2 Glock 19 for sale. Has some holster wear on the slide, otherwise in good shape. Has OEM Glock night sites, about a year old so still very bright. I sent the slide in to Glock to have them installed, and I sent it in stripped so they replaced all of the slide internals. I still have all of the original parts, and they go with the gun, including the original sites. Also have other random spare parts that go with it. Has rubber Talon grips installed. They can easily be peeled off. Has a smooth face trigger and dot connector. I forget which spring I have installed, but it's a very nice feeling combination. Also have the original connector and several other factory springs that will go with it. Comes with one 15 round mag and one 17 round mag. Comes with locking OEM case (not the original to the gun) $450, or even trade for M&P 2.0 Compact 9mm.

  4. I think I need to work up to that. So.....anyone have an oem exhaust for this they don't want? It came with a danmoto pipe on it, and I'd rather not wake the neighborhood when I leave for work at 4:00am
  5. Thanks everyone. I think I answered my own question, found an adapter here: http://www.adventuretech.biz/adventure-to-givi-adapter.html
  6. Hi all, I'm Mike. Casper had me join many years ago when the forum was new, but I never had a bike so I never posted. I just picked up a 2012 V-Strom 650 from a Chrysler dealership in a small town near Canton that they got on trade in. It looks to be an Adventure model, which comes with oem Suzuki luggage mounts and side boxes. I'd like to add a top case but don't really want the Suzuki one. Does anyone know what my options would be if I want to keep the original side cases but use a Givi top case? I'll try and get some pictures up soon.

I took a better look, driver side rocker is the only spot, but it's through. It does have a set of four great condition snow tires.

When I got the car it had a black hood on it and Z3 fenders. I grabbed those parts from pick n pull and wasn't really able to get the hood lined up quite right. I don't think is bent, but it's possible. No rust on the doors, only on the rockers. Hard to notice unless you are up close to it.

http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5259042165.html 5 Speed manual trans, comes with a set of snow tires. 143,000 miles. Has some rust, it's not perfect but runs fine. Heat and AC work. See pics on the CL link. It's listed on there for $1700, bottom dollar is $1,200 for CR members (and no, I won't go any lower than that). Great in the snow with the snow tires mounted.
  10. An iphone, and a CTS-V, and they can't effectively use bluetooth together?
  11. I've had lots of problems with HTCs, cannot recommend
  12. I've never had a problem going over a tow limit if its for a short trip, and once in a great while. Doing it often or for a long distance will destroy the tow vehicle and likely put you in an unsafe situation. Do it right, or don't do it.
  13. Take whatever a loan calculator says and double it and that's probably not too far off from the monthly payment including property taxes and insurance. If you put down less than 20% of the purchase price then you're also paying pmi which is just more money down the drain. Regardless of where you end up, start throwing every last cent possible into savings.
  14. Twitter put out a report within the last week or so showing a pretty steep decline in traffic. They've probably run their course, and won't be growing any more without a new business concept.
  15. I've seen stripped down ecodiesel Rams for mid 20's
  16. Anyone remember this? http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2015/03/11/new-albany-ohio-potholes-fog-make-for-damaging-commute-for-cars-on-161.html How about instead of dreaming about this horseshit they actually stop holding up ODOT in fixing the roads running through their city? Or maybe taking a little responsibility in fixing the roads that are their problem? http://www.thisweeknews.com/content/stories/newalbany/news/2015/04/13/route-161-paving-moved-up-two-years.html To this day when I drive on 161 (multiple times a day, every day) I'm still trying to avoid all the rough spots where they didn't bother doing any patching until well into spring, and did a horrible job at it. So what's going to happen to this light rail when it starts to deteriorate because they don't feel the need to do any kind of maintenance ever? Come up with another scheme like the red light camera bribery to pay for it?
  17. You need AWD to drive in the rain? Are you one of those people that goes flying off the road backwards from driving on wet leaves?
  18. The entire US is having a heat wave except Ohio where it barely breaks 75 and rains 6 days out of the week. I'd rather have the heat wave.
  19. Going off memory here so any of this could be wrong, but I think NC doesn't allow open carry, and SC allows ANYONE to have a loaded gun in their vehicle, but I don't remember if it has to be stowed or open. WV allows whatever and no clue on VA. Again, double check all that.

  21. I love how Kel Tec treats their customers, and how cheap individual parts are. Kinda sucks that their products are mid range quality at best. I used to have a P-3AT. The grip broke at the rear pin. $30 and a little time later and it was fixed, but that was kind of a big failure.
