It was a mixed bag between carry-out, drive-thru only and limited sit down eating. Some places never reopened. Over all it was good, we ate well and of course the roads were amazing.

I just don’t get this double standard. For whatever reason that cop lost his shit and some poor fella died in handcuffs. Should never happen. Courts will decide what he’s guilty of but he should be held responsible for his actions. I don’t understand why everyone feels the need to look the other way or make excuses for those hundreds of people who also lost there shit and loot business, vandalize, set fires and all such shit. They should also be held accountable for there actions as well. Yes it would be great if cops that see bad actions by other officers would report them. But does anyone expect the guy dragging a Tv, Xbox, and a bag of dog food out of target to report the guy in front of him that cleaned out the jewelry counter. I just don’t get it. It’s like justifying burning down my neighbors house because I’m pissed off at my brother in law. Makes no sense to me.

I agree with your comment that they are separate issues. However, many people aren't making that distinction. If you don't support mass rioting and destruction then you must be a racist white devil who has no empathy for the black community. People are actually saying and thinking this shit, I've had it said TO me. It's ridiculous.

Guys, we're talking about a race that was legally, and without trial, strung up from their necks for being in the wrong town past sundown. This was 60 years ago. Forgive them if they get a little jumpy around more unpunished murder by the police system. No. I do not condone the violence in any regard. I understand why they feel the need to knock a little harder on the door, though. BLM became a punchline. The police mock their efforts to civily raise awareness and a make a call to action. Nothing.. from nobody. Ignore the problem long enough, and some mother fucker is going to get reminded how it feels to be victimized.

I'd like to see how that works out for ya though... An actual solution? Put someone in charge that will actually do something about bad cops and good ol boys. Oh wait, unions....

If I was concerned about my race being mistreated by police, a good starting point might be to encourage more people of my race to become police. Being more represented couldn't hurt.

I don't understand why these two things have to go hand in hand. The cop was clearly in the wrong from the evidence presented so far, and he's been arrested and charged with murder. What more do they want? And it's not a fair statement that cops never get locked up, it's been happening way more frequently. That aside, how does trashing the city solve any problems? What more do people want? Nothing. They just want anarchy. They wanna cause havoc and do all the things they see on TV that they normally cannot get away with. Half those people probably don't give a damn about George Floyd, they just want free shoes and xboxs and the street credit to tell their buddies they torched a cop car. This whole movement would have more credibility to me if there wasn't countless small business owners who are entirely innocent, having their lives and businesses ruined by these people. Even black store owners are being looted. They're committing crimes against other black people while protesting about crimes against black people. That 7hr video also has a section where people start shooting guns at a random car driving by. Let's protest by trying to kill white people. Good idea. And fuck any of you who think this shit is okay. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Is there a problem that needs fixed? Yes. Is this the way to do it? We'll see, but I'm guessing no. Why not ACTUALLY protest peacefully and try to build a movement and get people on your side? Destroying the city and wasting gov money seems like the opposite way to push for "equality" even though I don't believe that's what any of these protestors want.

The house is selling and she wants to travel the country for a month or two, so my bike is actually for sale. Will get another as soon as we return and have her take the msf class.

First fast group ride in Raleigh NC this past weekend. After many private messages in FB got to know about this “secret” ride and group. They keep to themselves due to many newbies coming and crashing etc, similar story to our side. I was warned and re warned multiple times different folks that pace is hot and dangerous the usual story to our side. Some how I mustered up enough courage to jump right into a group of 10 strangers there. I am basically a shy introvert guy and it was a huge mental exercise and accomplishment for me to walk up to group of strangers and say, hi I am a new uninvited guy wanting to join the group and ride. 🙂 but well worth the effort and had an awesome day. but the take home point I noticed is, our core group of people in OHIO is a bunch of crazy mofos on two wheels lol, I think we kinda lost the meter to measure pace. This group ride felt like a good solid fast medium pace at best. The fast ride pace sometimes we push back in Ohio seems ridiculous if that’s the case 😆 May be this will help me realign inbuilt accelerometer in the head. Few months here and be back to normal motorcyclist again. I remember after 2 yrs in Michigan almost felt like having to relearn riding as there were hardly any corners in that crappy flat land. Here at least there are few sweepers and clean roads and weather. Michigan has nothing..... absolutely nothing. 😑 again be safe and ride safe fellas miss those twisty roads 🤙🏽 Some of the awesome bikes that showed up there.
