  2. Get out to the suburbs for your stuff if you need to. The GE on 77 and 82 for example is in pretty good shape stock wise. I also have found early afternoon is a good time to go, they have had time to restock and not a lot of people there. Also you, or anyone that is nearby....we could always work together to get stuff if needed. I can buy it, leave it beside my house and you can come get it. I will collect on the handy when this is all over.

  3. Left the house around noon and home by 5:30. Just a nice, mild cruise to get reacquainted with the Voyager. Amanda made PB&J sammiches and we snacked at a picnic table for lunch. Took 93 from Canal Fulton, 83/78 to Muskie, then 78/821/209 and then County 35 out of Cambridge (which is a lovely road, btw) to 258/36.. amd then set the cruise to 75 and rolled up the interstate to home. I really do enjoy that bike. I am glad we got a quickie in today. I will be in Wisconsin this weekend... in the car. Drag!

  6. The modern, “aggressive” infusion treatments are pretty impressive for a lot of people. That’s what i’m Hoping to start in the next few weeks. I hate IVs and pass out frequently with blood work, etc. I have 5 IVs in 8 days last week. I chose this treatment plan, in part, because infusions are twice a year. its not cheap, but my girlfriend has already insisted that we not even consider the cost, when quality of life is at stake. Turns out that i chose a pretty good insurance plan. Total out of pocket for me after 10(?) appointments, including an ER visit, CT scan, and MRI is stil well under $300. Obviously the drugs could balloon that to my out of pocket max REAL quick, but even that’s totally acceptable to stay active. I have 5 kids who think i’m Invincible. Planning to maintain that illusion for as long as possible. 💪🏻

  8. Nothing to see here other than a 2.5 freaking hour air filter change. And yes the filters take a beating on these beast because of the ram air and where everything is located. That's filter was changed about 18 months or 10k miles ago. Blew it out once in the middle of that time frame.

  15. Sorry to hear about this as well. Hang in there and reach out if there is anything I can do to help. Glad you have decent insurance as well, that will help for sure.

  16. With sufficient effort, almost any business owner can justify his or her business as "essential."

  17. Indiana's two week lockdown started today. Judging by all the traffic in front of my house though, you wouldn't know it. Only "essential" businesses are supposed to be open, but I got an email from the local Honda/Kawasaki store listing their altered hours. Yeah, a motorsports store is essential. 😂

  18. I still think motorcycling checks most of the boxes. Plenty of social distance, gloves, helmet to guard against others sneezes and coughs. If I can just get the weather to cooperate.

  20. There would not be similar numbers in all states. The virus is ahead of us and will remain that way until it goes away. Testing is important because it gathers information needed to build datasets. The reason we do not test everyone is because we build more bombers than necessary and not enough medical equipment or infrastructure. We simply do not have the resources to combat this virus. Welcome to The Machine.
