  1. Step 5 - strategically back truck into garage so you have the right amount of clearance to place those wonderfully crafted padded 4x4s under the hitch so you can place your bead breaker and bar on your tire Step 6 - use tire irons to remove tire Step 7 - lube up new tire with soapy water and install using tire irons step 8 - take tire and 4x4s back to sturdy card table, reinsert core, air tire up to pressure, be sure bead sets, reinstall rotors step 9 - install tire back on the bike and lower it back to the ground, ready to go riding Warning - step 5 requires a hillbilly engineering degree

  3. I no longer own a bike. I refuse to be 'that guy' that hangs out on a message board about motorcycles without owning one. It's like trying to hang with the cool kids when you simply are not one of them. So I am signing off. And Fuck @Casper

  5. Both wheels off and in my car, getting some q3+ spooned on them tomorrow, also some right angle valve stems. Ordered new end cap for my pipe, salesman hooked me up for $63. Should be here next weekend.

  7. Put on the front Roadsmart 3 tire on and discovered I should probably replace my front brakes as well. Waiting on new chain, sprockets, and dampener set to arrive before I put the rear on. I’ll maybe add some pics of my hillbilly tire removal and install later.

  8. By now I have usually had at least 2-3 decent 3-5hr rides in. Often times I sneak in a short ride in February even. All I have managed so far is 1 ride for about an hour. I left last Friday with my family for Florida and returned this morning at 2 AM otherwise I probably would have been out last Sunday. Glad you were able to take advantage of a decent day.

  9. Sunday was beautiful. I didn't even need any electrics to keep warm.

  13. For sale: My very used Aerostich Roadcrafter 2-piece. If this thing could talk, I'd have to burn it to prevent it from being used against me in a court of law. Someone once remarked that I'd single-handedly rendered useless the previous decade's worth of AMA public relations efforts in one afternoon's strafe of southeast Ohio's glorious roads, and I was wearing this very suit when it happened! You can't buy street cred like that! Wait...yes, you can. Because that's what I'm offering here. Never mind. Still waterproof after all these miles. A couple of the zipper pulls have been repaired in the traditional manner (split keyrings). The only bad is a melted spot when my left sleeve laid against a borrowed Suzuki Bandit's muffler when I shucked the jacket off on the Moki Dugway and rode in my tshirt cuz it was like a THOUSAND degrees. Apparently Suzuki doesn't believe in heat shields. The Cordura melted but the Goretex wasn't harmed, so it doesn't even leak there! It's just ugly, but then again, it's a Roadcrafter, so you won't be winning any beauty contests anyway. A new 2-piece is like a BILLION dollars. Okay, $1,334. Here's a chance to own one for....$200. You pay shipping or come get it. And honestly, this one's better than a new one...I've got a new one and I like this one better. First, they don't make this great color anymore, those idiots. This was their most popular color and some marketing genius decided to discontinue it. Morons. And they've made some changes to the way they fit (especially the neck) and the old one is better. Trust me. I'd keep it, but I already bought the new one and put miles on it and...screw it. After more than a hundred thousand miles, I figure it's time to give Riderwearhouse some more money. Jacket size: 46. Pants size: 40L
