  2. Wowzers! You sure you heard your Doc correctly? That level of Vit D is considered pretty toxic. 4000 IU (6x RDA) is the max upper limit per day, so 28,000 per week. I'd do a touch-back with your MD or pharmacist to make sure. https://healthfully.com/298565-how-much-vitamin-d3-is-safe-to-take-to-prevent-toxicity.html

  3. https://www.casbo.org/content/6-surprising-benefits-motorcycle-riding Also vitamin D is fat soluble so take it with fat. I never understood why it's added in skim milk.

  4. So it turns out there may be a medical explanation for this. I just had blood work done after I couldn't shake a cold and it turns out I have a pretty serious Vitamin D deficiency, that's been slowly getting worse for years. It comes with a bunch of seemingly unrelated symptoms like: headache, extreme fatigue, temperature sensitivity, chronic pain, difficulty sleeping, getting sick often, etc...all things that make it hard to enjoy things as much as I used to. It's been pretty awful, but it makes sense. Good news is that once diagnosed, it's pretty easy to treat. I should bounce back after a few months of supplements. We'll see.

  5. Up for sale is a pit bull SS rear stand I used on my SV650. This stand can be used as a standard or spooled rear stand by flipping the top supports over. I have also included some finger adjusters on this stand to help with micro adjustment between bikes. NOTE: Stand will not work on '15+ Versys 650 or Vulcan S models with stock fender. Use the F0043-000, Forward Handle Spooled Rear in this case. Will not work on 2nd generation Hayabusa, ZX14R, Ninja 1000, or Vulcan 650 with stock rear fender. Not ideal for ZRX1100 or ZRX1200.

  6. I quit riding at age 35 to 45 or something. I still kept two motorcycles around just in case. I thought the urban roads had gotten too risky. I pretty much assumed I'd ride again someday. When older I realized motorcycles are fun and I was missing out on that. Being older may or may not lower the risks, but you certainly take less risks.
