  2. No hurt feelings here brotha. I accomplished one of the goals I set for myself at the beginning of the season this past weekend.

  3. You should hit up the track threads and talk about small bikes. They freak out, it's a riot.

  4. @JustinNck1 and I took my Kaws out for a little stampede through it the hollar. He now knows my pain when I tell him my Connie is a hot runner Maybe he feels guilty about his hangry moment in the Utah desert now. I also now have a second option on whether my Z has been tuned or not and the consensus says yes. Kinda cool to let someone you trust ride your machines and hear their thoughts and opinions on your set ups. For example I couldn't imagine a bike better set up or more comforatable than my connie. But Justin said the exact opposite. Said he could ride my Z across country before he could the C14. But that's why we all all have different set ups, body styles and riding preferences. We all might what to remember that when people start pissing matches about what the best farkles or up grades for different bikes and styles are. Didn't think I would get back on the bike so soon after my surgery but I was feeling really good today and the 123 mile jaunt we did (while a little painful)might have been just what the doc needed to order.

  7. Get her to take the oxycotin. I was on it recently for six weeks. I didn't get addicted or die. Shit works in minutes and lasts till the next dose. Speaking of shit, if she does take it get her on a mild laxative right away, soon as she starts.

  8. I don't need much warning. They pretty much can't fire me anyway.

  9. That's true. That's also why you shouldn't look down on the mini stuff as if you're too good for it and need to be 'challenged' more. At least that's how your posts come off to me.

  10. Herrin races mini-bikes all the time at the Herrin Compound with the exact bikes we race in OMRL.. he has quite a few of the MotoAmerica guys attend as well I believe. Granted, Herrin isn't on MotoGP level, but he's certainly on a level far superior to any of us.

  11. I think mostly everyone who rides Minis also rides big bikes on the track as well. They both teach valuable lessons, but I can assure you that I became a much more proficient rider on my big bike as a result of the things I've learned on the OMRL bike. It's cheap, they crash well so you can learn your limits and they don't have pristine brakes or suspension... so you learn how a bike feels in different situations without much risk of doing tons of expensive damage to a bike or to yourself. Are big bike track days fun? Absolutely... but they're far more expensive and thus... less time to do those types of things. My only argument is if you HAVEN'T tried mini-bike racing, you really can't talk about it one way or the other. And you mostly don't have an excuse to not try it as there are plenty of guys on the boards here that are willing to lend their bike for ABSOLUTELY FREE to come try it out on a practice day. I dunno... I just don't see why someone wouldn't want to at least try it.... In the end, everyone has their own agenda of fun... Mine just is currently racing mini-bikes for $70 for an entire weekend for 2 days of riding and fun having.

  12. I watched 2 friends crash right in front of me from locking up the rear entering a corner, then releasing it and highsiding. ABS would probably have saved both crashes. Would have helped this guy too https://jalopnik.com/racer-who-grabbed-another-riders-brake-lever-could-be-i-1828964861

  13. Not sure anyone has that view. Mini racing is fun and if you don't come have fun with us you suck is what we all get together and chant every full moon and eclipse, though.

  14. to be fair, that's like a free climber standing at the base of el capitan and saying they've already found the limits at the local rock gym so they will only climb everest.

  16. I think it boils down to the "mini racing is the end all teaching tool and if you don't do it you suck" attitude of the mini crowd.
