  2. Per suggestion from @what, I've added an emergency contact section to profiles. Completely optional. Only viewable by mods/admins. I don't think I have to explain why this could be extremely useful. Consists of contact name, contact number, and additional info. For instance, I put Carie, her mobile number, and that I'm diabetic. In the event of an emergency, anyone can reach out to a mod/admin with information who can then reach out to the emergency contact. Right now this can be done via thread, PM, whatever. I will soon have another option ready. You can edit yours by visiting your profile and clicking the edit button. You may also see a banner at the top of each page reminding you to complete your profile. Clicking through that should work as well.

  7. Not quite. Getting closer tho. They changed my BP meds and its helped, but there's still some dizziness going on. Doing the exercises and getting my eyes checked as well this week just as a precautionary measure.

  10. agreed. I'm going with the idea that they quit making this motor in 2017, and because it's technically a '14 bike, they might be saving any motors they are hoarding for newer bikes. Who knows?

  13. Thanks man. I should be able to walk normally in several months. Way better than being dead or paralyzed . I consider myself lucky.

  14. They going to hone the cyl? What about the head? It looks mangled. I'd be pretty pissed at them wanting to rebuild it. More time, more money, more of a chance they didn't put it back together right.

  15. Great ride today with Max & BRM. 175 mile back road adventure with a little WNF mud section at we transition thru the New Straitsville area in route to Zaleski-Vinton-McArthur for lunch and finishing at R56 near Ash Cave. Did not mean to leave you in the back Max's on that last bit of Locust Grove road but Mark was trying to show me a wheel in the tight stuff. And that shit was not about to happen. Great time, Thanks for coming out and riding.

  16. With my ride to the Doctors the day before we left I had 7210 miles total. My trip spending was $2180 with the tire change and the fuel pump I bought for the bike.

  17. Kinda surreal today. Nowhere to go, nowhere to be. Just hanging out at the house. Sat down and figured up cost of the trip. I used my debit card 86 times . Grand total for hotels, food/drink, fuel, gifts, and a tire change: $2100

  18. got back from loring, maine a few weeks ago. a long trip, and i'm still gathering up the loose ends. ran my 1965 triumph bonneville on the 12,000 foot runway to a new record in the mile-- 130.946 mph, and in the mile and a half-- 134.287. so far as i know, it's now the fastest gasoline production-framed triumph in the world, beating australia (116) and bonneville (123). cams, pipes, jets, and weather all came together on the last day, and i beat the mile record three times and mile and a half record twice. managed 29 runs without going into the motor beyond the removing the clutch to change gearing. my neighbor in the pits lent me his gopro for what turned out to be the record run: fastest vehicle there was a late model corvette running 258 in the mile. my neighbor got 203 on his ZX14. took him three days to do it, because he had to find a way through a pavement transition that bounced his machine in the air at 90. i didn't even know there was a problem, because i took it at 40. going back at the end of the month, then it's time to work on the track bike.
