  1. Always said there was one thing missing to make my connie a truely perfect bike. Thanks to @JustinNck1 for giving me the connection on a half priced unit. All wired up and plumbed in just waitingfor a coil pulse adapter to come in the mail. Got about $110 invested in it.

  5. Hello all, just signed up and excited to share ideas and opinions. Bought my first bike this year from a friend and am looking forward to riding this season. I am also looking forward to doing some modifications this winter and hoping to glean some knowledge from my neighbors, so thanks in advance and have a safe 2018.

  7. Did the sprocket change (15 to 14 and thicker to save spline), desmog, Dave's carb mods, went up from 50/152 to 55/158 jets and desnorkled. Also no chance to test ride due to monsoon season. Will start without choke. May have to drop down a step.

  9. I decided it was time to check the brake pads on the FJR. 41k miles and they look like this.

  10. Little update. I ran across a hell of a deal on Icon Raiden DKR jacket and pants. Waterproof, vented,D30 armor. Waterproof is baked into the shell so no liners to fool with except the thermal. Nice stuff. It was 39 degrees the day I finished my suspension mods on the Connie and I was out about an hour comfortably. Yesterday it hit 80 degrees and with the vents open it was comfortable. Not cool but comfortable. The Connie blocks a lot of wind and vents in the jacket. It all folds up nicely into one saddle bag. For less than $300 I’m very happy.

  11. Ya. It’s pretty much a personal rally course for the rich assholes that go to BBHS and just got their first WRX

  12. Put down a couple hundred miles on the Connie today. Great day for it. Got home and started sorting through the harness on the zrx. Looks like a bad circuit in the junction box.

  14. Got the bandit back in one piece today, new front brake pads and lines (sheared off when it went off the trailer) and new battery. Fucker fired right up, took it around the block my dad lives on and then it started raining. Vintage hondarocket also fired up instantly. Hope to get them both home soon.

  15. Very cool. I go the “Steph” route except when I’m carrying in just a T shirt or need to pocket the gun.

  17. Liked it so much we grabbed a second! Lol Steph got the extended mag for hers to give her a better grip, I went the opposite way and put the flat baseplate on mine but grabbed a hogue grip... The extension should help her grasp it better when shooting and the hogue will be nice for me to give it less slippery of a feel in my big paws... Surprisingly, the extended mag is only 7rd versus factory 6rd, despite looking much bigger...her whole hand fits on the grip now, mine doesn't fit either way that's why I'm sticking with the flat one to just tuck my pinky under

  18. Since the weather was crap here in Northeast Ohio I left the motorcycle at home and trailered the quad 150 miles east to Majestic Trails. Had a blast leading/chasing my buddy around the trails in sunny 55 degree weather. Had 1 hiccup with my head pipe cracking all the way through. Did some trail repair, good enough to get an extra run in but ultimately had to leave a little earlier than normal. Overall it was a great day on the quad. Today was a great test to see how I did with the rebuild and it seems as though it passed the test.

  19. Ordered valves and springs to go with the new fork legs for the vintage Honda. Once everything is in my garage I'll snap some pics before and after. Free rides on her at the meet n greet, but the clutch was slipping at full chooch last year... shit, guess I better order a clutch kit too....

  20. It was chilly this morning. I was numb 7 min into my ride to work so it was ok after that.

  21. Rode it to work. Was a late decision to do so, since they were forecasting rain originally. Thankfully everything went smooth. I unhooked the tender, checked the tire pressure, turned the key, hit the start switch and away I went. I left about 20 minutes later than normal but only arrived like 10 minutes later than I usually do ?. All is well with the world today.

  22. This was delivered yesterday. 2015 R1200RT. I’ve been looking for several months and found this beauty near Toledo. Took a road trip last Saturday and after several minutes of thought, I agreed to full price if he delivered and there you have it. The luggage box, navigation along with several more add on's made the decision easy.Today I’ll be cruising to Mathis BMW to discuss new tires then onto All Seasons in Wooster. Home by 1700.

  23. Yeah! Needed an evening like this....rode the SDR to my oldest son's game, and had a blast lofting that front wheel over and over. Third gear is my favorite, roll that throttle a little past half at 65mph and it will just carry the front for a quarter mile. Second gear wheelies are scarier - anywhere near 1/2 throttle and the front jumps up quick. I don't even try power wheelies in first anymore, 'bout looped it out last year and filled my shorts. I know you guys are all itching to ride this season, and SO AM I!! Glad to see folks are getting out for some play time.
