  1. Down 25, started going to a gym (crossfit) and participating in the "boot camp" workouts. Goal is to loose more during the winter. Then back on the bicycle in the spring. By next winter we will know how to setup our own workouts and workout at home. I learned all the equipment we have isn't doing us any good because we dont know how to setup a good workout. School still makes it difficult...1.5 more years until I graduate.

  5. I would agree with you Jamie. Christ was a pacifist. But every religion has bred their own brand of "we're right; you're wrong" intolerance. Islam, on the other hand, is a deeply flawed ideology that at some point became a religion. It's inspired quotes like: Winston Churchill 1899: “Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.” Islam is fine justifying violence, killing, rape, and slavery in certain situations. Even Mohammad committed murder and rape. What??? Where did this hate speech come from??? Well it's right in the fucking Quran. Read what's in there...you'll be surprised Violence https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/violence.aspx Rape https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/rape-adultery.aspx Slavery https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/slavery.aspx Women's rights https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/women-worth-less.aspx

  6. I attempt to live my life as a thoroughly decent human being. I've never needed any religion or ideology to convince me of that. I just seems right to me. If you needed religion to tell you that lying, cheating, and stealing is wrong...then deep down you are shithead.

  7. Many, many millions of faithful, good people call themselves religious. Blanket statements declaring religion to be more bad than good, or to have caused more harm than good, or to have lead to more deaths than anything else are essentially useless and provide little in the way of a compelling argument. Any war or killing brought on by religion means those followers we're practicing their faith correctly....and were more influenced by money, power, fame, or love of self than that of God. Any criticism or judgement or shunning of the actions of others by those that are religious likewise means they're doing it wrong. In this season, I see many fellow Christians opening their hearts and wallets to help lift and to love those around them. And if they're doing it correctly, they should be doing it year round. I see very little else in this world that compels people to be good and decent and loving. I'm not saying any of you should be religious. But declaring it a useless cause of death and destruction is narrow minded.

  8. On to Chassis assembly: We clean out the hint of grease that the factory puts on moving parts. Its seriously pathetic how little they have, it's barely noticeable. Then we pack the bearings with high quality low friction grease. Properly assemble and torque all moving parts of the chassis, to assure proper spec and function of all moving parts. Last picture is start of assembly using stock shock as a placeholder

  9. Been stuck in an arm cast the last week and a half and haven't worked out since (ironic since I got a gym membership a week before the cast). I feel like a fat-ass failure right now, but there is no way I'm going to try and sweat more in this thing than I already am.

  15. Rear shock removal can be a lengthy job as you need to lift the tank and remove the top clevis. During routine service and more so during a track or race weekend, Time is a commodity. Shaving the frame is legal in race applications and allows for the top shock mount to be removed with the clevis in place. Realigning the lower shock and linkage mounts allow for quick and easy removal. Making spring, valving and maintenance possible in a moments notice. Add a few captive nuts and shock removal literally happens in a matter of seconds.

  16. I think Francis is a nice man, but a bad Catholic. While the Catholic church was due for reform, you can't just rewrite dogma without undermining the entire religion. It's very hard to argue that an eternal, all knowing god changed his mind because people's social opinions changes & some of the church's rules became unpopular

  17. Couple more set backs last week. Was sick for a couple days laying in bed running to the bathroom every20 min or so(both ends). I think I'm having gall bladder issues. Still not feeling well this week and stuff down there still isn't right. I think a higher power is fighting me to getting back on track.
