  1. For those that followed us this season BeIn has finally posted race 2 from Barber. It was by far Gavin's best performance of the season and arguably the best battle of all classes all season. Grab a beer and watch. It is absolutely worth every minute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNaCj6zHgAs&sns=em

  2. I don't like the idea of trailering past really fun roads to get to other really fun roads. Some of the best riding I did in June was getting there and getting home.

  3. At least that's what it feels like. I've always had naked or nearly naked bikes but decided to pull the trigger on a Connie 14. I think it was a good decision. This whole wind protection thing is fucking awesome aside from a little trouble judging speed compared to a naked bike. This thing is super stable and smooth at speed and handles well enough to give 1/4" chicken strips the first time out on fresh rubber. All kinds of power doesn't hurt either. Took it over to the river Saturday and it's not my zrx but it's not bad at all in the twisties for a touring bike. 800 and 536 were plenty of fun. The linked brakes seem to be the biggest downfall for me (parking lots and such) but I have no doubt I'll get used to them eventually. Also having to do the 15k mile service including valve adjustment over the winter bites a bit. Planning two trips to Tennessee and a trip to Florida next year so it was time to find a more appropriate bike. Mostly just really excited about this thing and wanted to share.

  4. Went down for a weekend in July and spent 2 days 2 up Groming. I have just as much fun if not more fun on it than the big bikes.

  5. Pole time was right around 2:00 with the chicane. So about 4 seconds faster if you take out the chicane like at track days.

  6. Last race of the season. All in the points race. Trip to Spain on the line. Potential sponsors watching to see who's hungry for a ride in 2018. Racing. What they don't clearly show there is Standish is lucky to be alive. The guard rail got his neck between his helmet and suit and sliced him open then he was pinned under the bike. The safety team was completely on their game that day and he lived to race again. They got the bleeding controlled and the bike removed then a very fast ride to the ER and surgery. That kid had an angel watching him that day no question

  8. Alrighty then.... Do NEO peeps ride or trailer down? How long of a ride is it to get there? Is anyone looking for someone to split room expenses with? Is there any other helpful info that anyone can provide?

  10. And it's not in a dry county. Look there is never a perfect solution for any thing, other than the electric chair. We make the trip, not the lodging. It could be in a cornfield in Iowa and we would have a blast.

  11. He had to. They wouldn't let us sign him up in A. They insisted on evaluating him even when we provided his professional race license. When he ghosted the coach on a 600 with his 390 they agreed he was approved for A. It was a such a joke

  12. You guys didn't stop by. And yes that round sucked with the bike problems because he is fast there. His track day times there were faster than the winning times

  13. If we have it prepped in time. And winning the R6 isn't that simple there's more to it than winning the race on an R3. There's prequels and registration and stuff. He won't qualify for that. He'll be on the SV650, 390 and possibly the R3

  14. Gavin is a hell of a rider. It was unfortunate that he had some bad luck at the Pitt Race round where I was actually able to see him race in person! Look forward to following him next season, and maybe @MidgetTodd will actually take us over to the pits next time to introduce us!

  15. An sv on q3s would be a great bike if you dont want to get into a 600.

  17. Didn't you guys have a rat or something like that in your cabin this year @max power? I thought Fontana was okay for what it was but yea things are getting run down but they still want to charge you the premium price. I mean lets face it $260 a night with tax for a cabin that is falling apart and shit don't work in it is a rip off.

  18. I'll be the owner of one of these german toxys in 2 weeks. SSSA rear suspension, FWD 14speed internal rohloff hub, tail fairing trunk. I could part the extras and have a sweet lighter naked bike.

  22. Not at all my area of practice, but my recollection is that the primary purpose of such a document is explicitly to facilitate the scenario you're hoping to accomplish. County recorder's office should get him squared away. You may want to make phone calls before sending him all over the place though. Some counties don't have all their offices in one building. and sorry for your loss, btw. Even if you and your step-mom weren't super close, that sucks for your dad.
