Well all restrictions removed and will be back to work Monday. Doc said I'm fastest recovery of any of the simular case patients she has ever had. She said usually its a 5 month recoveey time and I'm only at 3 months. I always tell doctors I'm a fast healer but they never believe me till after the fact. She also said im going to have stiffness and soreness for months if not another year but the chance of reinjury without another trauma is slim. Thanks again to all of you for helping me through this whole ordeal.9 points

First time that me and the mrs. officially 2up on a bike. There was the one time when she was prego 18 years ago i ran her a half mile up the road total squid like. But tonight was the official first time. Did 215 miles to the Valley View Bike Night. It was a great feeling because just a year or more ago we were too heavy to do this, now there is 190 lbs gone between us it was possible. Think she fell asleep on the way home..lol3 points

Update from the Family --- John took a great step today. He is now breathing on his own. They've removed the ventilator and I believe they are starting to remove the sedation. They are not allowing visitors at this time as he needs a ton of rest. This is incredible step from when I was there on Saturday! He truly is a fighter! Keep fighting John!2 points

Had some hi dollar custom molded units made back in the day. They suck ass. Nothing comes close to good old disposable foam plugs. I prefer Howard leight, Max Lite plugs.1 point

If MJ would have gotten hold of you as a child, he would have personally mouth-fu@ked you! Would have given you new meanings for "Thriller" and "Beat-it"1 point

A Higg's Boson goes to a Catholic church service. The priest tells him, "We don't allow elementary particles to attend worship services here." The Higg's Boson says, "Without me, there can be no mass."1 point

Unfortunately, according to consumer reports, BMWs are the least reliable of new motorcycles. Anecdotally, I've seen more BMWs (3) have catastrophic failures on rides than any other brand. As nice as they seem, I definitely don't trust them more than Aprilia...though that's not saying much. https://www.fool.com/investing/general/2014/02/17/is-harley-davidson-the-worst-motorcycle-money-can.aspx Seems like Jim is in the same department I am, in terms of what he wants. Naked baby! At the top of my wish list right now is the Tuono 1100 RF, and a very close second is the FZ10. That motor in the FZ10 screams, and the touring edition with some bags has got to be one amazing motorcycle. Plus, the FZ10 is only 12,999 brand new. https://ultimatemotorcycling.com/2016/07/21/2017-yamaha-fz10-14-fast-facts/ This video review of the FZ10 is incredible: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiEMPDeS3Ls I also love the look the white and blue MV Agusta Brutale 800. Sexy as shit. Fit and finish is jaw dropping. But, perhaps a little too exotic.1 point

Electric bikes are interesting. Personally, I think off roading would be a better market for electric for it's current level of technology. Typically, dirt bikes and ATVs don't need as much range as a street bike, so current battery tech might be just fine.. Plus the lack of noise may open up some off roading areas that don't want the noise to scare off wildlife, etc.1 point

still say that HD should invest in building ATVs...side x sides and quads that have a big V-twin in them. All chromed up and shiny. All the redneks would take out loans. And speaking of loans, that's probably another reason HD is hurting. For a long time, (maybe still?) you could get extreeeemly long term financing thru HD Finance. Gotta believe there's a shit ton of repo's going on. Hell they even let you put accessories and clothing on the loan!1 point

That's fine, since you will never be out on that part of the tire anyway.1 point

So I appreciate the kind words about me, always nice to hear! Going forward I want to make sure our customers know that if they buy a Sena product from Riders Discount and are having issues to please call me directly or PM me within the 2 year warranty time frame. Appreciate the patience @thompsonian and @Connie14 with your issues, both of which have now been resolved. We love the Sena product and issues are few and far between but know that you are being taken care of if something does come up. Best Regards, Mike1 point
