  4. Made it home safe too, hopefully every one did. It was so nice to see every one. And each year get to meet few new faces, and by next couple of years we become old riding friends. My friendship circle is growing more detailed ride report once I get some food and rest. So much stuff happened in the last 24 hrs, that pretty much proves when it comes to motorcycling just trust your bike, your instincts your luck and take that leap of faith and the end of the day you get to kick back and enjoy for years some sweet memories.

  8. In my hometown eating dinner. 575 awesome miles today. @jschaf thanks for leading me around. You sir, for sure ride a fast pace. I loved every second of it, even the couple of times I drug a toe slider & scared the crap out of myself. @B-Mac and @what thanks for letting me mess up your group. It was awesome riding with you 3. Good to shake some hands before and after the ride. Nice to put faces to the names I read on the forum that I never met and also great to see others I've met before. Sorry I missed a few of you.

  12. There was a slow group? I thought we ended up with medium, mach retard, and hate parade.

  13. Great riding with everyone today and props to the slow group for helping move the old guy that was out of gas out of the middle of the frickin road!

  14. I blame cunning old fox tonic for posting a cancelled thread and then locking it, very effective hate move on noob folks. I am guessing at least a handful of folks got duped. Jshaff is all about riding, no ifs no buts no time waste. Their group was already out even before we pulled in. And we were loitering until tonic got the reins pulled in. We didn't take a group pic if I was not this shy and blessed with the sound of a real man I would have called all the super heros to assemble for a photo shoot. At at the end the rough guesstimate will be 22 ish

  15. Twenty-something sounds about right. Not bad for a cancelled event.

  17. Pretty sure this "bump" is it. We hit it at pretty close to mach retard, which is probably what made it so dramatic. If I remember right, it's a little roller with a dip on the other side that you wouldn't notice at the posted speed; It's hard to make out on google. Could be wrong, never done that road before. It launched us pretty good though. Fun fun. https://www.google.com/maps/@39.4564761,-81.7013334,3a,75y,88.92h,98.33t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sOpmTJmuh2QJ2WbAwL7DuYw!2e0!7i3328!8i1664

  19. Home. Almost 500 miles logged. Had fun as usual. Good weather, didn't get a drop of rain other than the morning mist/fog that beaded up our visors on the way to McConnellsville. Always good to see the regulars again, catchup with a few I hadn't seen for a while, and met a few new guys. Weather didn't play spoiler today, so I'm glad the wife and I decided to roll the dice and go. See those of you going to the Gap in a few weeks!

  21. Yea, checked and saw "Ride canceled" last night, so went to bed at my normal time. Then this morning I woke up at 8am... read several of ya were still gonna go and said rain wasnt more than like 30% chance. I looked at the USA radar and judging from it, yep. I just would NOT have time to hurry up get ready, ride all the way down to meet yall at that point! 5.5 hours to Mcconellsville met spot for me! well there is always next time. So instead I rode to go see a movie. Then met a friend of mine up at Ducati Detroit after. I got to Demo ride a new 2017 Multistrada 950! Nice bike, just need to demo it 2UP to get my GFs approval. lol Then on the way home I GOT FUCKING DUMPED ON! Damn Michigan weather! Wasnt supposed to rain at all what so ever here, but did and I was WITHOUT my rain gear! lol Least my Phone and valuables stayed dry! P.S. My Bridgestone T30 EVOs handled Great in the rain. Highway speeds up to 100 mph, slow city stuff, etc. Hopefully see yall on the next ride . . .

  22. Great ride most of it solo, but passed folks at the bucket and then Nivin and someone else on the side of 78 jus passed the bucket, passed the fast group on 260 as they were going north and me south yellow 1000rr leading, then passed Tonik as they were going east on 26 and finally Hellmut and his group rolled up on me in Marietta at a speedway. Rode with them till Malta where I split off back to columbus. Good day, no rain for me. Nice to meet some and pass by others. ??

  23. Good ride today fellas. Wish I would've gotten there a little earlier. Feel like I got plenty of riding in, but not enough bullshitting.... Guess it could be worse. Too much bullshit, not enough riding hahaha

  28. The area and time I passed though were predicted to have thunderstorm and stuff and all. All I saw was drizzles. And this was supposed to be the bigger blob on radar. For tomorrow I almost guarantee u won't get rained on. The radar is shows only very very small spot at best. Come on out guys.

  35. hahah i never prescribed narcotic/ sedatives ever and will never use it myself too. i have a very weak will power and poor mental strength and resolve. Exhibit A is my weak pathetic 3 time failed attempt at quitting motorcycling. this is exactly why i never want to try smoking or drinking coz i know i am gonna be a raging alcoholic or certified rapper Will drop some badass bars and finish with "thank you come again"

  36. Yup, will be ready to ride in 2 weeks.

  38. If someone had a promising racing career and I enjoyed watching them progress/compete, I would be concerned if they were involved in a career-ending accident no matter if they were famous or not. Just like I'd be concerned if someone on this board were involved in a serious accident. Nicky personifies the way a lot of us on this forum probably would like to live their life if all dreams came true - riding motorcycles all over the world for work. People look up to and respect him for his accomplishments and can identify with him because of his Kentucky blue-collar family background. It's just a shitty thing to happen to anyone in the motorcycling community.

  39. @Isaac's Papa, thanks but I am going to bail on the event. Will catch up with you another time if the ride gets rescheduled. Ride safely everyone!
