  2. My cheap carry is a PT111-G2 and is fairly small framed for being a 13 shot 9mm, but as big as I am it's easier to conceal bigger guns. My first was an XDM40, but only really concealable ( for me ) canted mid/back, and not the best choice for average sized carriers. My wife's LC9 is a bit slimmer than the PT, but relatively the same overall size. What I do like about the LC9 is the weapon is rounded at most every edge, so there's little chance of it getting hung up on clothing or cutting into you if your holster doesn't have a tall back.

  5. Biggest problem I've seen with any of them (big or small) is that people do not practice with it and/or keep it clean and oiled.

  8. So, the CIA may have found out from my texts I like pepperoni pizza from Antonio's and my wife likes salad.... major information if they hack my iphone. Along with a tread with my OR buddies that a guy named Tonik has a hot lunch date!

  9. I'd say stay on race line for sure. People will get by when they can. Also, I'm guessing you'd be in Novice? More than likely you'd have a control rider with you at all times if you're slower on the straights than the majority of the rest of the pack.

  10. There were some KTM 390's running in my group at summit. They held the race line which is to the left on the front straight of summit point, and it made them predictable. They would stay there and everyone else would pass them on the right and move back to the race line. No issues.

  11. I made a Slack bot last night for querying open issues in our ticket tracking system. I named it Botty McBotface.

  13. Exactly. I know a ton of them. Most, but not all, are like that. It's their humor.

  14. ^I agree, you should hold the race line rather than going from side to side on a straight to enter the next corner.

  15. Some people may disagree with me on this, but I think you will do better on the straights to stay where you're expected, and not move right, then have to move back left into other traffic trying to set up for the end of the straight in the same space you are. I would ride 4' from the left side of the track, leaving a little room for people to come around you on your left, and a LOT of room for them to pass you on the right. (which would be the courteous move, on their part) The worst-case scenario for you is two riders coming up on you, riding nose-to-tail. The front rider sees you, but the guy on his ass doesn't. If the front rider waits until the last second to go around you, the guy on his ass may not react quickly enough to avoid you. I lifted the rear wheel on my F3 when I was the guy on the other rider's ass. Lesson learned. Almost the hard way. But having a slower bike move across the track to set up for a turn is more dangerous, IMHO. Just leave room to be passed on either side. I would honestly be looking behind me if I were on a bike with a 100 mph top speed. I wouldn't advise you to do so, but I would...

  16. I hate Obama almost as much as I hate Casper, but that said I doubt he knew much about this beyond the CIA Director saying 'Yea, we got a lot of really cool and secret ways to hack the bad guys.'

  17. This is a good point, I periodically clean my carry gun even if it hasn't been fired. You would be surprised at the amount of dust, fuzz, etc. it will pick up. I know when its go time, I don't want a piece of pocket lint fouling up the action.

  21. Westfield has killer prices. I got an OTD quote from them and used that for price matching locally. If the local dealers didnt step up i was going to rent a truck. Bought two bikes this way.
