  1. Reading is for chumps. I thought this law was a thing already? I've been running reds that don't change for years.

  2. 2016 was an eventful year for me. 4 surgeries (2 minor)...recovered from some serious injuries...Went through a major break up...Went through a custody battle...Lost some close friends...Added quite a few great people to my life...Lost weight...Got healthy...Etc 2016 definitely tested my mettle. I've adapted to things I never saw coming and overcame them. All things considered, I am better off at the end of this year than I was at the beginning. I am in a very good place other than the fact that I've grown to hate the people I work for. I'm in the process of solving that, too.

  3. Do yourself a favor and hit Glacier National Park since you'll be so close. Dropping into Utah and Colorado would be a good move too - but ya might run out of time to do them.

  4. If it was my money I would by the AIM solo GPS. They make a DL (data logging) version as well. No need for beacons or anything else additional. With that being said one of our best selling non-gps versions is the XT Racing Ultra Lap timer. It does a great job but does require a beacon. XT also makes the GPX versions which will provide much more data. Everyone has there own opinion on this but for me the AIM is what I would go if you can swing the cost.

  5. Cleveland must have a roads department that believes motorcyclists aren't just an urban legend.

  6. I believe there was a whole thread about that button. That was a @Tonik request.

  7. Well, just learned what this button does. No more highlighting everything and hitting backspace.

  8. Office 2016 can go fuck itself. No training. No tutorials. No time to even get acclimated with it.

  9. Yeah what they do is they say scrap value of the metal because the diamonds or whatever aren't worth shit, which is partially true. Don't believe the Sterling/Signet bullshit about diamonds. They all have blood diamonds being pumped out. Diamond mines in Canada are pumping out way more than most 3rd world countries could dream of. Theyre relativly cheap but there's a market for them soooooo. God I Austrian economics some times seriosuly brian. I would be interested to take a look and see what you got. If not that go see Joey at Richfield Coin. Probably not going to be what you want to hear about it's value but he'll be honest with you about it.

  11. I can honestly say I don't bother to clean the polish out of the inside of the brass. I used to run them in the dishwasher loaded into plastic colanders. It turned into too much hassle as it never got all of it and then I had to worry about getting them dry before they started to tarnish again. After you use the tumbler media for 5-600 hundred cases the amount left behind diminishes and it's less of an issue. Once the media stops polishing (2-3000 cases) I add some of the Frankford Arsenal liquid brass polish to the mix to try and get a little more life out of the media. I fortunately (or unfortunately) depending on your view, reload a lot of ammo on an annual basis. Last year was somewhere around 10,000 rounds reloaded. As for crimped primers, I swage with an RCBS 9495 swaging die. They are only $29 on https://www.amazon.com/RCBS-Primer-Pocket-Swager-Combo-2/dp/B0063IDAX2 You put it into the rockchucker and it works just as good that the standalone units without taking up more desktop space for another piece of gear.

  12. It's good to see you guys rise above your challenges. 2016 has been great for me. Rode more than I ever have. Went through alot of BS at work that turned out to be nothing. Started to not get worked up about the little things and just to enjoy what I have. Knocked off almost 12k miles this year, and realized I am a happier person when I have motorcycle trips planned and that's what I am gonna do in 2017.

  13. Glad to hear you're better off Tpoppa. That's a brutal lot to go through. Weird one for me too. A good recovery from 4-level cervical disc replacement surgery, but rewarded later with residual peripheral neuropathy (numb/cold/tight arms and hands) that's likely due to lower level compression and systemic inflammation. A full year of "cleansing the palate" by not dating one bit after a shit marriage with bad custody issues, a LTR with different issues, another promising STR until I undid it facing more critical health issues, made a big job change to an intense management role, switched up a few motorcycles and did several excellent long-distance ADV and camping rides, rounding the year out with 6500 on the odos. It's why I don't post here as much as I used to - just too busy most of the time. Still, all said, happy to be alive and getting around, not stuck in an unhealthy relationship, challenged to rise against, and a little more self-aware than 365 days ago.
