  1. I'll still be more of a street guy. I enjoy my long days in the saddle and my oldest daughter is taking a real liking to riding with me. So much so that for her birthday I surprised her with a promise to take her to Deals Gap this summer and a riding jacket. She called it the best gift ever.

  2. My question is the bike looks super clean doesn't look like it would be locked up from neglect by sitting around. Is the timing chain unhooked to be able to turn the cams?

  4. Bodywork on, obviously the cut around the exhaust needs work, but that's not a big deal. I'm going to leave the carbon fender on.

  5. Good thing about the Gap roads is you'll find your tolerance goes up and you ride longer each day.....like adrenaline is in the air down there

  6. Never. My daughter took a 150 mile 3 hr ride with me last summer on the rr and handled it like a champ. We are going to trailer to Deals then ride the area, so no need for the sport tourer just yet. Plan is to take some longer rides with her in spring before we head down and see just how long we can ride before we can't handle it anymore.

  7. I would purchase one of these $17 borescopes you can use with you phone or laptop so you can actually see in the cylinder. They work amazingly well for the price paid and this will let you see if you should continue further on the suspect engine. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01H00AJB2?psc=1 Marvel Mystery Oil also seems to be a favorite to free up stuck motors. You're lucky the bike has a center stand, place the bike in gear and rock the rear wheel back and forth to try and free the engine. YouTube video of a guy using this exact method on a old CB350 with success.

  8. Who's going to be acting DP for this shindig? Derek? Doc? I'm guessing most of the group will be in Novice because of the 2 trackday rule so we may need a couple photographers split between the groups. P.S. Director of Photography. Not the other DP.

  9. Does N2 or mid Ohio allow full textiles that can be zipped together? Trying to convince an older gentleman to try at least one track for an experience and this guy I am sure won't get trackdictted.

  11. New exhaust in and starting to mock up the bodywork. Service manual said to take off the radiator to remove the headers, but fuck that, got my little hands in there and saved a couple hours.

  12. Dude, it's a Triumph. They still have the same issues as the cars did with the Lucas electrics in them. You need an electric smoke refill kit. I used all of mine while fixing my Sprint the one time or I would let you have my bottle. Looks like;
