  3. Not totally true. Back when I worked at a place that I could skip the random drug tests and not get in trouble I partook often and would wake up early get the smoker going then take a wonderful weed nap and eat up good meats

  4. Quite the opposite. Taking it to the track is doing your best to minimize the inherent dangers involved with going fast on a motorcycle. Splitting lanes at 100+ mph in a heavily congested area is asking for a darwin award, or at least an honorary mention.

  7. My smoker has officially died. Years of over filling and heat has taken its toll. Time to build one. I will post build pics here =)

  8. i've done both ways. Doesn't seem to make much difference. Some people get fancy, and soak them in juice/whiskey ect. I can't tell much difference. I typically add chips every hourish. If I'm using dry chips, i do the same. Once the meat gets up into the 140+ internal temps I quit adding wood, as I believe all the smoke absorption is ready done.

  10. I read a lot of oil threads over the years and most of it is very subjective and even the "factual" parts can be biased depending on the test and who was performing it. There's things that synth oil does better and things that dino oil does better so I use a blend of the two. However, unless you flat out use the wrong oil, any difference in protection/performance won't manifest for many years and miles - likely long after you've moved on so don't sweat the small stuff.

  11. I laugh at people that say jif. Way too pretentious.

  13. Ohio drivers do seem to be more likely to be an asshat about that type of behaviour but lane splitting can be done safely. From the reports I'm guess these individuals were traveling at very high speeds and were probably going much faster than the cars they were passing. That is a very high risk. Passing cars slowed or stopped due to congestion with ~10mph speed difference is a safe and efficient manner to split. It appeared to be the norm for motorcycles I saw in the LA area. Ofcourse "normal" traffic in LA appeared worse than a bad rush hour in OH. Craig
