My grandfather helped design and build the Redhead Roadrunner Missile at North American Aviation. These pictures are from Feb. 1965 at White Sands Missile Range. The rockets would be sent up, the army would use radar, which was still new, to shoot it down as practice. The third picture shows duct tape which was used to hold some wires down. During flight it flipped up over the air speed sensor so it registered 0mph. It kept opening up throttle and hit Mach 2.2 which was stupid fast at that time. It was just a blip on the radar which the Army took as a malfunction and never fired on it.

haha this had me laughing at my desk.

just got back from a 2+ week trip visiting my daughter in Bellingham, WA. Drove the RV from College Station, TX, to LA, then up the coast. Hit one mountain pass that was snowed/iced in and had to have tire chains, but no big deal there. We came back via old 101 down the coast to Pismo Beach(I always wondered why Bugs kept wanting to get there, and now I know), then hit Tombstone (so my wife could see where I spent my teenage years) and got home this past Saturday. Once I get through my 600+ work emails, and getting 3 different University systems' software upgraded for the new tax year, I should be able to get back to the important stuff...Pr0n and funny pics! I plan on throwing up some of the pics I took, but the damn job keeps getting in the way!

Today the mailman is bringing me a Bulova 96A118. Mechanical self-winding watch with dual aperture dial and 2 complications. $500 retail. Got it new with tags off eBay for $126.

If you call them and say you're with the group they may extend the discount over to that cabin. The last trip I went they at first screwed up and said they didn't have the cabin we wanted to book left so said they would do another type with the same discount. Long story short they called me back the next day and realized they messed up and we got the cabin that was part of the actual OR grouping

Not bad at all. Most painful part is when he was searching for the tube on the right nut and clamped it down before the local anesthetic. The needle injecting the anesthetic was not bad at all. It's now been a little over 2 hours most the numbness is gone and it feels like I was kicked in the nads. Just sitting with feet up and ice on. I did get some Percocet and took one about an hour ago so the transition from anesthetic to opiates went fairly smooth.
