  1. Heading down to http://www.kentuckyspeedway.com/ in a bit. We will be tailgating most of the day in the Ford parking lot right across from the track. And seats are in Grand Stand 1. Is anyone else going?

  4. Most Harley guys hate V-rods with a passion. That's kind of like another reason to buy one.

  5. Mixed thoughts... I mean tax dollars did pay for it, so I'm glad we're getting to keep it instead of abandoning it in Iraq or giving it to the Afghan army as a gift... And I understand there is a possibility that the police would somehow end up in a situation that it might be useful... But I just don't see the chances of that being big enough to justify them needing this... It seems like this is the first step to turning even more cops into stupid commando fucks... While I'm happy our tax dollars are being recycled rather than given away like usual, I'd much rather see this type of shit put in storage until needed again, or at least given somewhere that it may be useful (might come in handy for border patrol or something like that - since fucking Mexico wants to continue invading our borders and shooting at our border patrol agents)

  7. Timin8Tr I really don't want to do surgery but I will likely end up having to do so as my INS will suck after Sept 1. It will cover very few chiropractic visits. Pauly, I am greatly disappointed in the result of ACA. It will cost me +150 a paycheck just to keep my insurance. Sadly we are told our insurance is on the top 22%ile in cost and benefits. Which is fine except I work at a school which doesn't pay the greatest. I feel extra bad for my staff. I make a bit more then them. I ended up forgoing the raise I was given so that it could be given to some of our other teachers. It's just crazy.

  8. I’m confused what is everyone trying to tell me Sport bikes are faster than Harleys you guys are too easy I have owned a KZ1000 since 76 So I have a little bit of knowledge of what a sport bike will do You guys are just suckers for pot stirring and it is a fun way to entertain myself when I can’t ride I bet not a one of you have the balls to go to a forum like HDForums and talk the same kind of BS I do here and stay for two years. I will say this everyone single one of you that I have met in person have been OUTSTANDING people and I would ride with you anytime It will take a lot more than a little bit of ragging on my bike to scare me away. But Jim is right 24 pages  PS I really could less what anyone rides everyone on 2 wheels put their ass on the line everyday doing what they love and that's all that matters. It is a shame that so many of you are Harley haters your missing out on meeting a lot of great people out there by attacking everyone that post to this forum I took a chance going on the Rushmore run knowing how things are on this board and only meeting TONIK 1 time. I’m glad I did and would do it again anytime.

  10. Granda don't do surgery IMO. Go check out this place. Integrative Health + Sports Performancemore infoAddress:Address:‎ Relocated from Relocated to Not true? Show all edits Not true? Placement on map is approximate 2955 Exchange Place Boulevard #103 Miamisburg, OH 45342 Get directions ‎ (937) 433-0909 Many years ago (like 20) when I lived in Dayton this Chiropractor saved me from surgery. Surgery is only attempting to fix the effect not the cause. The way it was explained to me is there are 3 little floating bones, kinda like little rocks that create this "tunnel" they can move making the tunnel smaller. Surgery cuts something in there that opens the tunnel up. This guy, cracked my wrists putting the bones back in place, then used physical therapy and gave me excercises that strengthen the muscles that hold the bones in place. This was not an overnight fix, but to this day I have not had to have surgery. I still get flare ups, but when that happens I'll do the excercises a couple of days and it really helps. Anyhow I think he is definately worth checking out. A friend of mines mother had the surgery and to this day one of her fingers is constantly numb, her wrist feels better though.

  11. If the intent here is to drive off people, you folks are doing a great job of it. HD is a great guy and you all seem to be going out of your way to piss him off. Seriously, 24 pages of telling him that harleys suck and people that ride harleys suck is a bit much even by OR standards.

  13. I'm going to start a thread about "Bikes Hoblick hasn't owned (yet)." So far the only rides I can think of that I'm surprised Ryan hasn't owned at some point (and I may be wrong) are: - SV650 - Concourse - Goldwing I'm poking fun, and I don't share Ryan's enthusiasm for upgrading bikes, but I think his posts above are pretty awesome. He's owned everything, and ridden them all enough that his opinion can't be invalidated. Regardless of what he's on, he expects it to live up to the performance it promises. Clearly those standards are different for a full bagger and a sport bike, and that's okay.

  14. Yeah Harleys suck. My Softail is always getting bugs stuck on the windshield and contantly needs gas after I ride over 150 miles. Not only that, but the engine heats up every time I use it and makes clicking noises for 45 minutes after, and sometimes when I pull out there's a squealing sound coming from the rear tire - on the highway it gets very windy. The problems never end.

  15. Undercover cops were in the home earlier that day purchasing drugs. No evidence of kids at that time and plenty of reason to get a warrant. I get that cops are corrupt sometimes, but for fuck sake it doesn't mean they are every time. Stupid bitch moved her kid into a drug house and is now crying that some bad shit happened. Gee, wonder why.... She isn't a fucking victim here. This kid is the only victim and he's the victim of a cunt mother rather than law enforcement.

  16. Yup. Fuel is always a big crowd, with everything from a Lamborghini Aventador to the usual ricer crowd, and bikes from scooters to adventure touring rigs to modded CBXs to vintage iron. Killer biscuits and sausage gravy, too, if you get there early enough!!! The Wed meet at O'Dells is primarily a Junkie crowd since they were the ones to put it together. Used to be some bad blood between OR and AFJ, but the AFJ crew has mellowed greatly since the forum was created and they're a great resource for hooking up for weekly rides into NKY and some on the east side of Cinti. LocalRiders.com is a smaller and less active forum but has a core of about 20-30 regulars that get out every now and then. Check 'em both out.

  17. I'd love to see some kind of cost-benefit analysis put to the SWAT Team Industrial Complex. How often were cops getting killed executing warrants in the days before no-knock raids were common? And how much has that figure now fallen, if any? And if the number of dead cops has fallen, has it fallen by enough to justify the number of dead babies, terrified grandmothers, dead dogs, and billions spent on their soldier-gear? I am guessing not. We should have been shipping these assholes to iraq and afghanistan over the last 10 years. Find out how much fun playing infantry is in that setting...

  18. Agreed. So far, we've heard that a) no drugs found, b) no "person of interest" found, and c) baby critically wounded with possible permanent brain damage. I'm open to a counterpoint - if you have one.

  19. The militarization of our police force...and it is ours....we pay for it, it belongs to us and should serve us....is very troubling. The eagerness that these doughnut commandos display to play dress up with all their tacticool gear and raid houses on a whim and a warrant shows that they have clearly list sight of what it means to protect the innocent and serve the public trust. I hope meaningful legislation can be enacted to curtail these types of dick-brained intrusions.

  20. Wayfarer and NN: Just an FYI….Milford QSL Bike night is Wednesday and at Colerain QSL on Thursdays. Mostly the chrome-and-tassel pirate crowd with a sprinkling of squids thrown in, but occasionally worth the free price of admission…. Tuesday nights is Bike night at the Comet in Northside. Last Thursday of every month--meaning tomorrow 6/26--is Euro-Bike night in Milford in the Park National Bank lot across from MJ's on Main. If you're looking for a fun get-together with tons of cars and bikes, try the Fuel Cars 'n' Coffee meet Saturday mornings 8-12 on Kellogg Ave along the river.
