I had the 2000 busa and miss it terribly frikin theives. After riding Ninja Nicks zx14 man it would be one hell of a decision. Flip that coin.Good luck. If I could get that out of mine I might sell mine to get a Busa.

I thought they shortend that up a little on the 08.Not me. I would find a used 2006-2007 Red busa. can't remeber which one had a the dark maroon paint (like the 06 750).
I can't ride the new 08 Busa. Way to long of a reach to the bars.

I would say it is a good inch farther.. My back hurts just sitting on it.. Every magazine article says the same thing too.
But a 06-07 Busa with heli bars some soft luggage, tail bag, and a tank bag and I got me a tourer.. Easily log 700-1000 a day on one of them. throw some Brick tires and slab all over.

Hey man I rode my 2000 busa to New Mexico and not lying it did kick my ass but as for as sport touring it is an awsome bike. Go with the 08 man just change the bars. The orange is bad ass.
If a Bike isn't comfortable to me in stock form I am not spending money to make it as comfortable as older busa would be.. do the same thing to a 06-07 busa and I would be even more comfortable.
Plus I like the look of the older busas a bit better, mainly the tail.
