I stopped in at Iron Pony today and was killing time at work, while back in their closeout section they had some really nice looking armored leather jackets marked down to $34. What really caught my eye was the Zero-60 full race suits. Ive never seen these suits though. Anyone hear of them? I tried looking for a website, but it seems its no longer online. The ones in particular are the Zero-60 Razorback. They had these down to $199, was full leather, looked like the stitching was very similar to the Alpinestars suits. Had CE armor in all the correct places, as well as hip protectors and a spine protector with a speed hump.

Their closout gear isnt the greatest but there was easy 2 lanes of womens jackets and pants. 3-4 lanes of mens jackets and 1 rack of mens pants. Tons of gmax and vega helmets. Really good prices but you really got to look through it to find the stuff worth it

The Zero-60 brand was made by the original people behind Fieldsheer.

They created this brand as alternative to mid priced suits like Fieldsheer. (yes sometimes one company makes several different brands that compete with each other) Zero-60 was the house brand of one of the large wholesale distributors.

Several years ago you could have found a website and reviews, but they are long gone. Iron Pony did one of its famous power buys and bought everything the distributor had left in Zero-60. It was a chance for them to clean out their wharehouse of a product they are no longer going to do and an opportunity for us to bring you a smoking deal.

No, these are not the latest & greatest, but they are feature packed and will get the job done for an amazing price.

Well they arent flying out the door as the stock they had when i was there was alot. So ill probably wait till late winter to get one. Sides Ill have to go down and get fitted for one.

With the weight im losing right now, i wouldnt want to buy one then have it not fit for the next season.

Resurrecting this thread. Stopped into IP today and again, these one-piece suits were marked down from $599 to $199 in the closeout section. Very tempting as the suit that I've had for years has been way too big (bought it online) and thinking about selling it. Did anyone buy one of these suits yet? If so, what are your thoughts? It's definitely not the best quality leather and the armor does seem very flexible...but, that might be more comfortable compared to the hard armor I have right now to where I feel very stiff and not flexible enough. Very torn on this one since these suits are so cheap, and wanting to get on the track for the first time this season. They should be pretty decent since I'm asking about these 2 years later. It's not a "one and done" item. Any thoughts at all???

They may be protective and a great price but good god are they ugly.  Those suits are still in plenty supply as I was there on Tuesday of this week but the tacky silver and primary colors are just over the top.  They look like a box of Crayola crayons threw up on them.  Get over that and they are probably a great buy.

I didn't think they were too bad. My R1 is red so the black/white/red suit would be ideal. And besides, "fashion" is my last worry. I just want to make sure that if I do by chance go down that the armor isn't going to tear like a cotton t-shirt. I just don't understand how these can be so inexpensive.

I've got one and it works for me. I crashed in it twice and felt fairly well protected and walked away both times.

Not sure how well that suit would have held up if I would have ran you over at PIRC !

I picked one up after the first of the year and I think it's pretty good although being a new rider I haven't worn anything else to compare it against.  I have a two-piece and the zippers are pretty bulletproof - no danger of the top and bottom separating.  It is lined with a mesh fabric but I think it would be even more comfortable with underarmour or some other performance underwear.  Graphics are a little loud compared to some of the more conservative suits out there but they work for me.
