Have Monday off? Ride this Monday Oct 27th.

Working weekends means it's hard to make a weekend ride.  But I have Monday

off and Monday's forecast is looking pretty good to ride through southeast Ohio.

Can you make it?  We can meet in Logan, Ohio and ride the Epic Ride route.

This is a great chance for anyone who couldn't make the spring or fall rides due

to having to work weekends.  I'd like to leave early enough to squeeze in a trip to

the Big Muskie Bucket, about 10 miles past McConnelsville.

Kickstands up:  10 am   unless someone chimes in and makes a request.

Route is also subject to suggestions.  No worries.

We'll meet at the Hocking Mall Shopping Center.

Since it's the "use it or lose it" vacation time of year, I'm riding Monday - yep. Was planning on SEO but would like to do a different, and probably longer, route.

Have a great ride. Actually mean it this time! Looks like the weather will be nice for it.

Monday and Tuesday will be killer days for me because of the big deadline I was telling you about last month.

So I should be recovered by Saturday to take a long ride south to Hawks next and maybe the New River Gorge.

Ride Safe!

I'm in! Was considering a long-ish ride at a reasonable medium pace. It's fall and a workday so don't know what we'll find out on the roads.

I can be in Logan around 9:30am or earlier. Then maybe some roads like, 550 - 26 - 260 - 255 - 800 - and then 78 back to 33. Too ambitious?

That looks like a good plan.  I'm leaving Newark at 9:00.  I should

be in Logan by 10:00.

For anyone else wishing they could join in, it looks like the perfect

day to call off sick.  This may be the last nice riding day of the year

and if you miss it, you will feel sick for sure.

I'd like to be back in Newark by 6pm.

So yeah, maybe I was a little too ambitious. Got some family stuff to do myself. So we can go back to your original program: Epic ride with a Muskie Bucket detour.

See ya @ 10.

I just walked into the house.  Made a stop at Buckeye Lake

to watch the boats being put into and taken out of the water.

The wind made it difficult to load a boat, so I helped a few

people.

Also, I stopped at the Jacktown Pub for a rib dinner.  If you

go there, don't get the ribs.  They were delivered cold and

I had to send them back.

The bike is fueled up and SeaFoam has been added to the

tank.  I also lubed up the chain for the winter.  It's ready to

go when spring gets here, or it's ready now for another nice

riding day.

It was good to ride with you again, Dave.  That Muskie Bucket

was interesting.  Maybe one time we can actually make it to

the other side of Marietta for some new twisty roads.

Glad you all had fun since I am in logan

I would have tagged along but I had a

chain failure on Saturday so bike is down

for a bit.

I get down there three or four times a

season.  If I could post up farther ahead

of time maybe more people could plan

to join in.
