HVAC Dudes, considering geothermal... anything I should know?

It was 15 years ago, don't see why it wouldn't be.  Read my post in the other HVAC thread for some info, not going to repost it.  LIke I said there, we will be installing it when it comes time and not redoing the current normal HVAC system.

 

And they have plenty of installers listed in Cbus, so I would expect them to up there too.  It's awesome for sure.

A friend of mine did a geo unit in his house, it's a VERY large ranch with two huge basements. That house is literally like a meat locker in the summer, and toasty warm in winter. His cost is just running the motors to pump the geo-goo down the pipe, through the in-house units, literally pennies compared to regular gas or electric heating or A/C.

Do you know if his is horizontal or vertical loop?

Could you PM his rough installation cost?
