Have A Defective Power Tool Battery?

My craftsman 19.2v battery was saying defective in the charger. I took my fully charged battery and hooked it up to the bad one with some wires and clamps and bobby pins. I let it sit for 20 minutes and put it back on the charger. It longer says defective but is now charging. Seems it was so dead that it wouldn't recharge. I figured this might help some of you.

Done that. Done the deep draw to make it work longer and better also. Draw too low and it's dead.

A fact of modern life, in every houshold can be found a dead battery. An expensive one, usually.
